Allied Rivals SMS Terms of Service

These terms cover the text messaging program operated by Allied Rivals LLC, trading as Allied Rivals. By opting in, you agree to them.

Text messages sent under these terms are sent by Allied Rivals LLC, which operates the Allied Rivals brand and the website AlliedRivals.com. Allied Rivals LLC is the business registered for this messaging program.

Who the program is for

This program is for attorneys, law firms, and partners who hold an account with Allied Rivals LLC. It is not open to the general public, and we do not send text messages to consumers.

You must be 18 or older and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you give us. Do not sign up with someone else's number.

How to opt in

Check the consent box on our sign-up form at alliedrivals.com/sms-opt-in.php and submit it, or text us first at the number we gave you. The box is never checked for you. We do not buy, rent, or import mobile numbers into this program.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of buying anything or of receiving any service from us. If you would rather not get texts, you can still hold an account and receive your leads the way you do now.

What we send

A short alert telling you that a new contact has been assigned to your account, and account and service updates related to your service.

The alert does not contain the contact's name, phone number, email address, or any other detail about them. It tells you something has arrived and points you to your email, where the details are delivered as they always have been.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on your account activity. Alerts are sent as leads come in, so how many you get depends on how many leads are assigned to you.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Allied Rivals does not charge you for these messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you according to your plan. Check with your carrier if you are unsure.

How to stop messages

Reply STOP to any message. You can also reply CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, or END. We will send one confirmation message and then stop sending them.

You can also email hello@alliedrivals.com or call 817-380-9196 and ask us to remove your number. If you want texts again later, sign up again on the form.

Carriers and delivery

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We cannot guarantee that every message reaches you. Do not rely on text messages as your only way of receiving leads.

The program works with major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and their affiliates. Carrier support can change.

Your privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or transfer the mobile numbers on our text messaging list, and we do not use them for anyone else's marketing. The only parties that receive them are the messaging providers and aggregators that carry the messages for us and subcontractors that support the service, such as customer support.

Consent to receive text messages from Allied Rivals is given to Allied Rivals alone and is never transferred to anyone else. Our full Privacy Policy explains what we collect and what we do with it.

Changing your number

Tell us if you give up the mobile number you signed up with, so we do not text whoever gets it next. Email or call us and we will update your account.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when they last changed. If you keep receiving messages after a change, you accept the current version.
